Revenge of the Tar Heels: Part 1

IconSeems the UNC Group Therapy has seen it's first signs of success.  The Lady Tar Heels downed rival NC State in the ACC Final 60-54. The Lady Heels lost to the Wolfpack 72 to 65 on February 16th, so this was sweet revenge.

With Duke having lost in the tournament, they proved that a perfect regular season doesn't mean anything in March.  UNC should get a two or three seed going into the ladies Tourney.  Duke will be an obvious number one, but this victory by the Lady Heels, who lost both games to Duke this season, shows that they are a premier team and will be tough to beat on the road to the Women's Final Four.

Part 2 is in progress, and UNC leads Duke in the men's final game of the season.  Hopefully they'll hold on for the sweep, and with Virginia Tech losing today, perhaps can share the top spot in the ACC.

Go Tar Heels!
