NHL Free Agents 2011: Ales Hemsky to the Columbus Blue Jackets?

The Columbus Blue Jackets announced that forward Kristian Huselius will miss four months, possibly more, after tearing his pectoral muscle during his offseason training.
This is a big blow to the Blue Jackets, as Huselius is one of their top six forwards.
The team will have to replace Huselius in the lineup and are weighing their options. GM Scott Howson says they may fill the role internally, meaning they call someone up.
However, since Huselius can be a 25-goal scorer when healthy, the team may need to look to bring a new player in to fill the gap.
The top forwards left on the free agent market are Cory Stillman and Vinny Prospal. At 37 years old, Stillman probably isn't quite what the team is looking for; besides, he hasn't scored 25 goals in years.
At 36, Prospal is in the same boat; although, he scored 29 goals in 2007-08.
Another option is trading for a top forward, with Ales Hemsky a prime target. Hemsky has been a coveted player, but the Edmonton Oilers haven't been made an offer that allowed them to part ways with Hemsky.
If the Blue Jackets are serious about acquiring him though, Howson may be able to make a deal. After all, he found a way to bring Jeff Carter to Columbus.
