Rangers-Leafs: 2nd Period Analysis

Scott SnyderContributor INovember 1, 2008

Well, I'd say Blair Betts deserved that goal.  He's a player who, in my opinion, comes to the rink every night ready to play.  It's like he's the captain of the fourth line for whomever may play on it...and I think Sjostrom and Orr are gonna be there for a while.

Up by two or not, I bet both Tom Renney and Ron Wilson are not very happy with the way things have gone thus far.  The Rangers have looked sloppy tonight, and were it not for some bounces here and there, it might be Toronto who had the lead.

But what makes the good teams great is being able to somehow take a lead when playing poorly.  Especially against the lesser teams.

Rangers up 2-0 on the Leafs after two.  More after the game...
