Michelle Beadle: Aaron Rodgers Romp Rumors Spotlight ESPN Cattiness
Rumors are flying around after ESPN sports anchor Michelle Beadle has found herself under attack by various sources, including her own co-workers, according to Deadspin.com.
Co-workers have reportedly told ESPN that Beadle got drunk and used drugs during ESPY after parties this year and that she had made a move on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Los Angeles after the event.
Beadle has vehemently denied the rumors. At the time she was called into Vice President of Content Integration and Strategic Planning Marcia Keegan's office, she demanded to know who had spread the rumors and thought about hiring a lawyer and suing them for slander. However, Keegan did not tell her, and she had since moved on from the incident.
There are even rumors of Beadle getting rebuffed by Rodgers and turning to linebacker Clay Matthews instead.
Said Beadle, via Deadspin, "That's insane. I live a much more interesting life in other people's minds."
Beadle now seems dead-set on rooting out the sources of the rumors, saying, "We'll find [them]. Some people like to talk a lot."
Beadle also denied rumors of her being drunk after the ESPY parties, saying, "I've never been the type to be sloppy drunk in public. I'm 35! I know how to drink."
It's worth noting that Beadle doesn't seem like the type of person that would do what she's been accused of. She's built a huge reputation at ESPN through her SportsNation show she anchors with Colin Cowherd, and this seems way too outlandish to be true.
But it is for that reason that some also believe she's become untouchable at ESPN and that she's given star treatment.
One thing's for sure: This thing is far from over.
