U.S. women's goalkeeper Hope Solo is showing in the 2011 World Cup that she's left 2007 behind her.

Solo, of course, made headlines for her infamous rant against then-coach Greg Ryan for pulling her in the semifinals during the 2007 World Cup against Brazil.

But beyond her play on the field, which aided the women's team in defeating Brazil in the quarterfinals of the World Cup on Sunday, Solo also appears to be moving on off the field.

When we last saw Solo in 2007, a truly dark year for the young goalkeeper, she was hanging out with her then-boyfriend, whose claim to fame was getting interviewed about wearing a skirt during one of her matches.

He also liked to talk a lot about himself and hang his arm around Solo's neck, which, as much as she tried to appear amused, clearly made her uncomfortable.

However, for you single males out there, you'll be happy to know Solo has reportedly since moved on and has been exploring the dating scene beyond that guy.

But, despite who she used to hang out with, don't think her standards are low this time around. She is, after all, rebounding on the field. It would be surprising if she regressed once again off it.

Nope, it's gonna be harder to score opposite Solo this time around so bring your "A" game.

Once out of the game, she's back in it, and she's come a long way since 2007.

Of course, if she wins the World Cup, her standards will rise even more, and anyone resembling normalcy will be kicked aside.

My advice: get a hold of her now while you can. The way she's been raising her game lately, she may be out of reach before long.

Now is the time, soccer fans.

Just don't wear American flags as skirts and expect to get anywhere with her.
