Wolves are gearing up for their third consecutive season in the English Premier League thanks to a last ditch final day that saw them avoid the drop. Manage Mick McCarthy has already been busy along side club chairman Steve Morgan.
Morgan has been delighted with the recent permanent capture of Jamie O'Hara. The former Tottenham player was on-loan for 14 games last season and scored three goals during his time at Molineux.
The arrival of O'Hara, whom scored in the final match against Blackburn that helped keep Wolves up, has prompted Morgan in a recent article on the Official Barclay's Premier League site to applaud the influence that he believes the new signing with have for the club.
Morgan stated:
"Other players will be attracted to Wolves by the likes of Jamie. But there's also Wayne Hennessey, Matt Jarvis, Kevin Doyle, Stephen Hunt...I could go on and on."
"Theres a lot of very high quality players here and I am quite excited about next season because I think we are getting ourselves a really good squad."
The excited Charmian went on to discuss the need to just eliminate small errors in games which could have seen them finish higher in the table.
In regards to the influence of O'Hara, it can already be seen a little as he has popped up as a key proponent for the signing of Reading's Matt Mills who we will discuss in detail later.
This coming season will show just what Wolves are made of as this years class of EPL newcomers of Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers, and Swansea City look stronger than some teams have lately that are coming up, and Norwich has already been making moves to attempt to ensure they stay up.

Mick McCarthy could be in line to go after Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell, but he could face competition for the signature of the 26 year old English player with Roy Hogdson and West Brom according to reports in Express.
While Scott Dann has seen the majority of the transfer speculation for Birmingham's back line, Ridgewell would be a welcomed addition to Molineux stadium, and provide not only the ability to play center half but also as cover on the left side.
Reports from the Star indicate that he could be available for around £3million. Rigdewell has a lower wage bill than previous target, Liverpool's out of favor Paul Konchesky, at around £20,000 per week which is not a huge burden for Wolves or West Brom.
Wolves need to sure up there defense in hopes of improving on their 17th place finish in the Premier League which saw them avoid the drop by only the smallest of margins thanks to a Jaime O'Hara goal that more than likely sealed the deal for McCarthy to bring in the former Tottenham player.
His time with Birmingham City has seen him make 138 league appearances and score nine goals since joining the club from Aston Villa in 2007. He was a key member of the 2011 Carling Cup winning squad under Alex McLeash, and his performances last season have speculated to be returning to the English Premier League despite his team suffering the drop.
There has been no official approach as of yet, but Ridgewell seems to be an ideal candidate for Wolves at a price they can afford, and would offer an alternative to current target Matt Mills if he does not sign from Reading.

It is hard to determine if allowing Kevin Doyle to leave for the right fee would be a terrible decision. While Doyle is considered the main front man for Wolves, he has a less than prolific record for them in front of the net.
He has scored 17 goals in his total of 68 appearances for the Wanderers, which works out to a goal every four games since his move in 2009 from Reading. However, as a Royal he scored 56 goals in 164 games, a goal every three games.
Doyle will turn 28 just over a month into the coming season in September, and at his age he could still demand a decent fee. It is also hard to determine how much his knee injury last season could affect him this year, and that might also be a weight on the mind of McCarthy.
If Wolves want to continue to improve and stay up they need to have someone that is going to find the back of the net a little more often. Nine goals in season one, only eight more in season two with six less appearances. It seems like he could be doing so much more, but his creative influence helped to free up Steven Fletcher for 10 league goals this year.
It could also possibly do Wolves one better to offload the Irish International if offered the right price with Arsenal looking at offering a possible £12million, and invest the cash into some fresh young talent upfront. As we said before Doyle isn't getting any younger.
A loan move for Liverpool's Dani Pacheco for the season could be an option as he is young and showed much promise on loan to Norwich City in their final push for promotion. Another option, if Arsenal are truly interested could be perhaps a cash plus player swap that includes Carlos Vela, as the young Mexican might do good with a true change of scenery and some belief in his sense of purpose. That lack of direction could be why he has failed to impress in recent loans.
In any case, it will be a hard bargain to get the Irish International away from Molineux, and Mick McCarthy will do his best to keep him unless there is a seriously spectacular offer.

Matt Jarvis continues to pledge his loyalty to Wolves as he continues to push for more chances in the English National team. Everton have shown interest in the player since January, and Aston Villa are now the other interested party since the departure of Ashley Young to Manchester United according to the article linked below.
A partial quote from ESPNsoccernet.com has Jarvis as stating:
"I'm still working really hard to make sure I'm staying at Wolves," Jarvis said. "This will be my fifth season and I've enjoyed every minute of it."
Those words make it seem apparent that he is intent on remaining where he is and helping Mick McCarthy improve his squad. If Jarvis keeps this up he will continue to endear himself to the Molineux faithful.
Jarvis has made 126 appearances for Wolves scoring 13 goals in that time period, but it is his creativity that have many teams interested in his services. If he is tempted to leave, it would have to be an offer to good to refuse with his value suggested to be around £4.4million I believe it would still take much more to get McCarthy to let him leave.
