Roberto Mancini has one of the toughest jobs in the English Premier League, the players and personalities he has to deal with are beyond what any other manager faces, day in and day out.
Having just to manage Mario Balotelli, must be difficult enough with his erratic behavior on and off the field of play.
Arguable, the Manchester City squad is the English Premier League's version of Real Madrid's Galacticos. The top level players, their egos and personalities all have to be contended with and managed by the Italian. The job he is doing must therefore be commended and also not envied.
With the depths of the club's owners pockets being all but bottomless, further high quality, high maintenance players are sure to be on their way to Eastlands. Mancini must be thrilled to work with such level of players, but also loathed to have to deal with their associated baggage.
With the transfer window still in its infancy, the comings and going at Eastland have only just begun and the shape and members of the squad at the close of the window will most probably be quite different to what it is now.
