Cristiano Ronaldo Accuses the "Sunday Mirror" of "Lies"
Introduction
The following is the opinion of the author alone and not of Bleacher Report and its subsidiaries.
According to the online magazine Who Ate All The Pies, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has accused the Sunday Mirror of publishing "lies." The object of the accusation is an "interview" with Ronaldo published by the magazine.

The Story
The article in Who Ate All The Pies (which was written by Chris Wright), reported that Ronaldo had told the Sunday Mirror about his desire to leave Real Madrid for Manchester City. Cristiano Ronaldo wasted no time in replying via his Twitter account.
Ronaldo twitted that the interview never occurred and that the content in the Sunday Mirror was untrue. The news about Cristiano Ronaldo comes at a time when Rio Ferdinand is taking the Sunday Mirror and Carly Storey to court about a story of an alleged affair.
Carly Storey and the Sunday Mirror had apparently published a story about an affair between Rio Ferdinand and Ms. Storey based on text messages. What has transpired has made me arrive at my conclusions.
My Opinion
I would like to congratulate Chris Wright of Who Ate All The Pies for exposing this news story about the Sunday Mirror. Chris Wright has defended the name (and reputation) of journalists and writers who want to write about sports without fabricating evidence or resorting to gossip.
I hope that my article will serve as an inspiration to those who want to write sports and those who want to read it. I also hope my article would inspire journalists who write about sports (and report it) to check their facts before publishing.
Thank You.
