Stoke City Await Confirmation from Birmingham City over Scott Dann
The Daily Mail has announced that Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is awaiting to hear if Birmingham City have accepted an improved bid for in demand centre half Scott Dann. Pulis previously lodged a £8 million bid for the Englishman which was subsequently rejected by the Blues.
Birmingham City are destined to lose the 24-year-old after the Blues endured relegation and with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Sunderland and of course Stoke showing strong interest, it is certain to occur shortly. Dann has emerged as one of the most consistent and strongest defenders in the English Premier League and many believe the former Coventry City centre half will become an England international.
Birmingham City are said to desire £12 million for Dann which Tony Pulis is set to have offered but the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal could increase the amount should other defensive targets fail to materialize. None the less, Scott Dann is likely to be spending very little time at Saint Andrews.
