The Phillies taunting towards the Mets gets worst....
One thing for sure today, the Philadelphia Phillies are World Champs and it will be haunting every Mets player who played on the 2008 team... The one thing they can claim is they are the best... Carlos Beltran must be in a dark room somewhere in Puerto Rico crying his eyes out.....

To make matters worst, Longtime Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas (pictured with the Phanatic) taunted the Mets during the on-field ceremony at Citizens Bank Park tonight after Philadelphia's 4-3 win over Tampa Bay in Game 5, screaming, "See ya, New York!" as part of a fan tribute shown on the Jumbotron.

That on top of all the things Jimmy Rollins and the rest of the Phillies players have been saying makes me wonder how interesting the 2009 games between the Mets and Phils will be. We have 18 games next year to see how this plays out !

All I know is this the Mets have to use some of this to fire them up and push them into October next year!!

I am sure we will hear more of this in the next coming weeks and in the spring as Jimmy Rollins told SI reporter - Jon Heyman to go around next spring to each team in the National League and find out who much the Mets are hated....

The rivialry will continue........
