Russell Wilson is transferring to Wisconsin. Wilson is leaving a minor league baseball offer and an offer from Auburn to be Wisconsin’s quarterback. Wilson graduated from NC State in the spring with a year of college football eligibility left.

The Badgers are coming off of a great season that didn’t exactly end the way they wanted it to. They made it to the Rose Bowl and lost to TCU. With two year starter Scott Tolzien gone, they QB spot was wide open. But with Wilson, who threw for 3,563 yards and 28 touchdowns last season, on his way in, the spot is now filled.

It looks like the Badgers are heading back to the Rose Bowl with a very solid set of returning players and now with Russell Wilson.

It will be an interesting season for sure.
