Major breaking news is being reported that TNA Impact! Wrestling is heading on the road to produce shows starting in August.

Before any official announcement, Hulk Hogan announced via Twitter: "Getting ready for 2days [sic]  of IMPACT tapings in Orlando, can't wait till August and we start going on the road every other taping."

If the announcement by Hogan is indeed true, this is a major win for TNA Wrestling.  The Impact! Zone has not helped TNA in any way to promote themselves as a major league organization despite the star power featured.  Doing shows in front of 3,000-4,000 fans, with over 1,000 in a sound stage, will give the company and viewers a much better feel to the product.

This could also lead to TNA elevating itself above the usual 1.1-1.2 cable rating.  When it went on the road for two episodes back in March, ratings scored a 1.37 (3/3/11) and 1.25 (3/10/11).  Most importantly, the scene change and seeing a bigger and much more energetic crowd rather a dead Impact! Zone will benefit the overall presentation.

Great decision by TNA.  Hopefully we get an official announcement soon.  Impact! Wrestling has been producing very well recently and the momentum is truly growing stronger.
