USA vs. France Match Will Not be Easy for Americans

The United States were able to rally for a victory against an extremely talented Brazilian side and will be hoping to knock off France and advance to the World Cup finals with a victory on Wednesday.

France knocked off England in penalty kicks in their quarterfinal match, also after equalizing with a late goal.

Both teams may be physically fatigued a bit after playing such long matches in the quarterfinals but both teams should come in confident and ready to lay everything they have on the pitch.

The Americans will hope to use the momentum and boost they received after coming from behind against Brazil, but cannot afford to get overconfident against a talented French side.

Like the United States, France has lost one match in this tournament, a 4-2 defeat to Germany.  However, Germany had only given up one goal combined in the previous two World Cups so that could be considered somewhat of a victory.

However, they were outmatched by the Germans, who really dominated the game from the start.

The Untied States will be hoping to come out quickly against France and play from ahead.  They have had to play from behind in their previous two matches, so they will certainly want to change the tide this time around.

The match can be viewed live on ESPN with coverage beginning at 11:30 AM EST on Wednesday, July 13th.
