Detroit Pistons Backcourt

Should the Pistons have traded Chauncey Billups? What impact will Rodney Stuckey have? How will the minutes be divided?

These are the questions you must be wondering about the Pistons backcourt.

To address the first question, the Pistons made the right choice in keeping Billups. Stuckey has too many questions to rely on him as the starting point guard. With his injury last year it is uncertain how he will hold up to the wear and tear of 82 games plus playoffs.

Still, Stuckey should be getting 30+ minutes a night and will be one of the leagues top sixth men.

Billups and Stuckey should get 30+ minutes, Hamilton and Prince will be playing 35+ minutes, Arron Affalo will have around 15-20 minutes a night. Look for Will Bynum and Walter Sharpe to get many DNPs on the box scores.
