The Washington Wizards scored big time by selecting Jan Vesely of the Czech Republic with the No. 6 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, though it would appear Vesely was a step ahead of the Wiz as far as scoring is concerned.
Upon the announcement of his selection, Vesely stood up and promptly laid a wet one on a tall, gorgeous woman whom one would assume to be his girlfriend before giving hugs to family and friends and making his way up to the podium to shake hands with NBA commissioner David Stern.
The crowd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey cheered on Vesely as he got intimate with his belle, who had no trouble standing tall with the 6'11" Euro baller.
ESPN anchor and noted sloganeer Stuart Scott couldn't help but comment on Vesely's girlfriend, remarking: "Some people are just luckier than other people."
Well, that would certainly be true of just about anyone who gets chosen as early as sixth overall in the NBA Draft, though it's not every year that you see guys show up in the green room with international models cradled around their arms.
The Wizards can only hope that he'll be as attractive an option alongside John Wall as his girlfriend is to him.
