What two things do men love more than anything? That's right, football and women running around in their underwear.
Thus, the Lingerie Football League was created in 2009, designed to cater to a man's two favorite things (they often have commercials for beer, which is a close third).
When we think of lingerie, we generally think of Victoria's Secret models, and there's certainly nothing wrong with that. The girls of the LFL, however, are a different breed.
They're not just hot women in their underwear; they're actually athletes. I can hear you laughing, but watch these highlights and tell me you're not impressed.
There are several additions and subtractions to league from year to year, and this year, there are five new franchises that haven't posted rosters yet, so unfortunately, they won't be included in the rankings. However, I think you'll agree that the remaining women serve our purposes just fine.
Whether you're impressed with their play or just their bodies, you're going to like this list. Here are the 25 hottest LFL players.
25. Laurel Creel (Seattle Mist)
Name: Laurel Creel
Hometown: Wasilla, AK
Strengths: Laurel led her squad in passing with a efficiency rating of 106.1, and her legs are also a major strength. Because she ran for 65 yards, of course. Why, what were you thinking?
NFL Comparison: Michael Vick
24. Ashley Salerno (L.A. Temptation)
Name: Ashley Salerno
Hometown: Chino Hills, CA
Strengths: Salerno burst onto the scene and earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2010. She led the team in both passing (135.5 efficiency rating, 12 TD) and rushing (189 yards, five TD).
NFL Comparison: Sam Bradford
23. Tracey Willmer (Tampa Breeze)
Name: Tracey Willmer
Hometown: Big Rapids, MI
Strengths: Wilmer played four games as a receiver, but was mostly used as a decoy (she didn't record a reception). She contributed on defense with 3.5 tackles, but she's mostly there to improve the team pictures.
NFL Comparison: Chad Ochocinco
22. Heather Furr (Chicago Bliss)
Name: Heather Furr
Hometown: Plainfield, IL
Strengths: The 2010 LFL MVP, there's nothing that Furr can't do on the field. She led her team in passing, was second in rushing and also picked up 13.5 tackles and two interceptions on defense.
NFL Comparison: Deion Sanders
21. Monique Gaxiola (L.A. Temptation)
Name: Monique Gaxiola

Strengths: Monique gets after it on the defensive side of the ball, as shown by her 10.5 tackles and one sack last season.
NFL Comparison: Ray Maualuga

"Down! Set! Set...Set...Set..."
20. Kimberly Wheat (Philadelphia Passion)
Name: Kimberly Wheat
Hometown: Whitehouse Station, NJ
Strengths: Wheat brings intensity to the Passion, and she also brings...well...nothing. She didn't play in a game last season, but she's ready to make in impact on the league.
NFL Comparison: Cam Newton
19. Donna Ferry (Philadelphia Passion)
Name: Donna Ferry
Hometown: Ridley, PA
Strengths: A 2010 All-Fantasy player, Ferry recorded four tackles in two games last season. I'm not sure what the criteria is, but she might be slightly overrated on the field. Off the field, however, you couldn't possibly overrate her.
NFL Comparison: Eli Manning
18. Amanda and Danika Brace (Seattle Mist)
Name: Amanda and Danika Brace
Hometown: Seattle, WA
Strengths: These sisters know how to get the job done. Amanda is a cornerback and running back who wreaks havoc all over the field. Danika is a menace on defense, leading the team with 13 tackles.
NFL Comparison: Tiki and Ronde Barber
17. Denisha Crawford (Tampa Breeze)
Name: Denisha Crawford
Hometown: Tampa, FL
Strengths: Playing quarterback for the Breeze, Crawford put together a passer rating of 93.5 last season. She's more of a pocket passer than a scrambler, though, as she only had three attempts for -6 yards.
NFL Comparison: Drew Brees
16. Emanda Doscher (Tampa Breeze)
Name: Emanda Doscher
Hometown: New Port Richey, FL
Strengths: Doscher is one of the best athletes in the league, evidenced by her WWE Diva-type physique. She made her biggest impact last year as a receiver, and on the defensive line, where she recorded 17 tackles.
NFL Comparison: Mario Williams
Bonus: Action Shot
That's one huddle I wouldn't mind being a part of.
15. Katy Ziegler (Orlando Fantasy)
Name: Katy Ziegler
Hometown: Tallahassee, FL
Strengths: Katy didn't get on the field in 2010, but she more than makes up for it with her spirit and enthusiasm. And she's not too hard on the eyes.
NFL Comparison: Wes Welker
14. Nikki Lee (Chicago Bliss)
Name: Nikki Lee
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Strengths: Lee only played in two games last year, but her upside is off the charts. She has speed and strength, and look for her to make a name for herself in the league this season. After all, her nickname is "The Beast."
NFL Comparison: Jevon Kearse
13. Tiffani Hardin (Orlando Fantasy)
Name: Tiffani Hardin
Hometown: Philippines
Strengths: Hardin was a menace on the defensive end in 2010, racking up 12.5 tackles. She also showed some speed on the offensive side of the ball with 89 rushing yards.
NFL Comparison: Shawne Merriman
12. Danielle Moinet (Chicago Bliss)
Name: Danielle Moinet
Hometown: Raleigh, NC
Strengths: As the captain of the Bliss, Moinet brings unparalleled leadership to the locker room. At 5'10", her length can disrupt receivers on defense.
NFL Comparison: Troy Polamalu
11. Laura Barba (L.A. Temptation)
Name: Laura Barba
Hometown: Torrance, CA
Strengths: Laura didn't play in a game last season, but at 5'9", she's an imposing presence on the gridiron. I'm sure she's ready to make an impact on and off the field in the upcoming season.
NFL Comparison: Vince Young

Zipphora Chase heads toward the end zone.
10. Brittany Tegeler (Baltimore Charm)

NFL Comparison: Reggie Bush
9. Brandyce Trowell (Tampa Breeze)
Name: Brandyce Trowell
Hometown: Tampa, FL
Strengths: Brandyce had an impact in 2010 both receiving and rushing, but let's be honest. Her biggest strength is her swimsuit.
NFL Comparison: Jeremy Shockey
8. Jeanette McCoy (Orlando Fantasy)
Name: Jeanette McCoy
Hometown: Long Island, NY
Strengths: McCoy is a tenacious defender, picking up nine tackles in 2010. She also runs the ball on offense, but her primary benefit comes on the defensive end.
NFL Comparison: Dwight Freeney
7. Chelsie Jorgensen (Seattle Mist)
Name: Chelsie Jorgensen
Hometown: Puyallup, WA
Strengths: Chelsie has yet to play a game in the league, so her strength is providing team morale for both the players and the fans by striking poses like this. She's not much of a player, but at least she looks good.
NFL Comparison: Matt Leinart
6. Nichole Knuth (Chicago Bliss)
Name: Nichole Knuth
Hometown: Lindenhurst, IL
Strengths: Nichole didn't play a game last year, but come on, do we really care?

NFL Comparison: Ed Reed
4. Tanyka Henry (Philadelphia Passion)
Name: Tanyka Henry
Hometown: New Britain, CT
Strengths: Tanyka didn't play a game last season, but she definitely has the look down. She could be sitting on the sidelines all game and I'd still be cheering for her.
NFL Comparison: DeSean Jackson
3. Stephanie Psick (L.A. Temptation)
Name: Stephanie Psick
Hometown: Redondo Beach, CA
Strengths: Stephanie is a beast on defense, recording 17 tackles in 2010. Something tells me you wouldn't mind being tackled by this cornerback.
NFL Comparison: Darrelle Revis
2. Nadia Bedricky (Chicago Bliss)
Name: Nadia Bedricky (aka Nadia Larysa)
Hometown: Zaragoza, Spain
Strengths: Nadia didn't play a game last year, but she possesses great length at 5'10". Look for her to disrupt things on both the offensive and defensive sides this season.
NFL Comparison: Larry Fitzgerald
1. Joey Davenport (L.A. Temptation)
Name: Joey Davenport
Hometown: Newport Beach, CA
Strengths: Joey didn't play in a game last season and this isn't a picture of her in her uniform, but I guarantee you she's in the league. Her strength comes more in the media relations department, where she publicizes the team with hot photo shoots.
NFL Comparison: Mark Sanchez
