Redskins 25, Lions 17

Jason Campbell is showing some remarkable promise in Jim Zorn’s offense. Campbell threw for 328 yards and a touchdown in Washington’s 25-17 win against the terrible Detroit Lions. Campbell also completed 23/28 of his passes. Campbell threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss.

Moss also had an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown.

The Lions did do somethings well though. Running back Rudi Johnson rushed for only 21 yards but did score an early touchdown. Quarterback Dan Orlovsky had 223 yards passing and a touchdown pass to Calvin Johnson. Orlovsky did not throw an interception.

Calvin Johnson had four receptions for 57 yards.

The Redskins are hot right now. They have won their last three road games and the Lions have lost their last 14 of 15 games and are 0-7 this season.
