12. Utah Jazz
Klay Thompson can be considered the best shooter of the 2011 NBA Draft.
Thompson is smart and can drain it from deep. His jumper is solid and he’s also a great passer.
He’s projected to go higher, but in Utah, he would be great. Going along side possible pick Brandon Knight, the two would form a great duo. Utah was practically gutted when players from their team like Kyle Korver and Carlos Boozer ended up in Chicago with the Bulls, so why not replace the shooter Korver was with Thompson.
It’s easy to imagine Knight driving and kicking out to Thompson or Thompson passing to a cutting Knight.
The thing is, that would require Knight to play point when he’s actually more of a shooting guard, but if it works, it would be a sick duo.
Thompson needs to work on his ball handling and while he’s an excellent free throw shooter, that free throw skill would really come in handy if he could get into the lane to draw some easy fouls.
