Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker is probably the player in the 2011 NBA Draft not getting as much attention as he is due.

He lost the Collegiate Basketball Player of the Year award to Jimmer Fredette, but won NCAA Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player in addition to his University of Connecticut winning the National Championship.

Walker is arguably the best player in college to enter the draft, yet he’s being looked over for point guards who haven’t accomplished what he had in college basketball.

He’s a bit on the short side for the NBA and many say that he doesn’t really have the potential other point guards like Kyrie Irving or Brandon Knight have.

But with Walker, the Charlotte Bobcats would get a penetrating and blazingly fast athlete as well as a tough clutch player with a score first mentality. Also, they would have another option D.J. Augustin or running Stephen Jackson at a point forward.
