4. Cleveland Cavaliers
The Turkish big man seems to have impressed almost everyone in the 2011 NBA Draft, and has pushed his stock up recently in the draft, including the 2011 Mock NBA Draft.
Had he been able to play however, he might be even higher up on the board., but he could even still be taken by Utah at number three.
At number four however, he and potential number one pick Irving could make a big splash in Cleveland for the Cavaliers.
Big bodied with a strong frame, he’s tough under the rim and loves to play physical.
He’s a smart player who can make passes, but is also a great rebounder, crashing the boards and can even shoot the three ball.
Even though he was unable to play in the NCAA due to his pro ball time in Turkey, it doesn’t mean he’s completely unproven.
Kanter displayed all his talents during workouts and has apparently done so well that he’s giving Brandon Knight a run for his money at number three.
For the Cavaliers though, getting Irving first and then Kanter with the fourth pick make for an excellent night in Cleveland.
