3. Utah Jazz
One of the toughest decisions of the 2011 NBA Draft belongs to the Utah Jazz, as even in the 2011 Mock NBA Draft, picking Kentucky’s Brandon Knight, is difficult.
For the Jazz though, Knight would still be the best choice.
Quick and athletic, Knight gives them an excellent shooter who can finish around the rim and gives Utah the scoring presence in a guard they miss now that Deron Williams is gone.
Also, at the defensive end, Knight’s status as a combo guard would be invaluable, as his top-notch defense would come in handy when guarding the Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook –like guards of the league.
However, would-be Kentucky teammate Enes Kanter is hot on his tails to be the Jazz’s pick.
But for Knight, he acknowledges that while he could play with Utah, he’s not getting his hopes up, “I feel it could happen,” Knight said. “But the draft is inexact – you never know what’s going to happen” said Knight to the Salt Lake Tribune.
Knight still seems like the logical choice for the Jazz in the long run though, so look to see him at number three.
