Real Madrid Transfer Rumours: Kaka, Neymar, Xabi Alonso, Fabio Coentrao

Real Madrid are one of the most successful football clubs and they will be desperate to end their archrival Barcelona's dominance in the La Liga and also they will want to win the Champions League this season, having broken their Round of 16 jinx in the 2010-11 season.
In Jose Mourinho, they have an extremely shrewd manager, who will devise strategies on how to beat Barcelona and win major trophies this year.
The Los Blancos have moved in quick in the summer to seal the signings of Nuri Sahin, Hamit Altintop and Jose Callejon and will further look to add to their impressive squad. Real Madrid have a strong financial position and Mourinho's side have been linked with a number of players in the summer.

According to Goal.com, Inter Milan are interested in signing former AC Milan playmaker Ricardo Kaka from Real Madrid and have put together a €30 million bid for signing the Real Madrid midfielder. The Brazilian has struggled with many injuries in his time at Real Madrid and has not reproduced the form which made Real Madrid sign the midfielder for €68.5 million.
However, Kaka has always voiced his wish to stay at Madrid and fight for his place in the team but with several clubs interested, Madrid may sell the star midfielder to generate funds for other possible targets. Mesut Ozil has had an impressive season with Real Madrid and has established himself as a starter under Jose Mourinho, which is why there is a possibility that Kaka could be sold.
But the fact is that Kaka has not performed to his potential mainly due to his injuries and he will have time to recover his fitness before the start of the season and could be immense if he can remain free of injuries which is why Mourinho might look to hold on to him as the Portuguese tactician tries to end Barcelona's dominance in the La Liga.

According to ESPNSoccernet, Liverpool have shown interest in signing Fernando Gago, who does not feature in Jose Mourinho's plans for the 2011-12 season. Mourinho has already signed Nuri Sahin, Hamit Altintop and Jose Callejon and will look to build a team capable of winning major trophies in the next season. Gago could be on his way out of Madrid and has been linked with Liverpool, who want to break into the Champions League places next season.
Gago's representative Lombilla said: "Gago needs to play and Liverpool would be a perfect club for him, Fernando wants to get back on the pitch and return to the top level and at the moment that is not possible in Madrid."
Real are believed to be demanding £15 million for the Argentina international but Liverpool are eager to secure a cut-price £10 million deal after splashing out £16 million on Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson. Liverpool have shown intent in the transfer market this season with the signing of the England youngster but it could be a gamble to pay around £10-15 million due to his injury problems.

Brazilian club Santos have confirmed the interest of Real Madrid along with a number of other clubs in their exciting striker Neymar, according to ESPNSoccernet. The Brazilian striker has been linked with a number of clubs in the summer and is regarded by many to become one of the best players in the world. The talented youngster has also represented Brazil and has been prolific for his club.
Santos president Luis Alfaro Ribeiro said "It is not just Madrid; a lot of other clubs in Europe have been calling us. If they pay the buy-out clause of €45 million and the player wants to go, there is nothing we could do.''
The Los Blancos under Jose Mourinho will want to bring in quality additions to the side to help them win major titles in the 2010-11 season and Neymar is certainly one of the most talented youngsters in the world. The Brazilian International would certainly bring in quality to the side, which already boasts of talents like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Kaka and Karim Benzema in attack.

According to Tribalfootball.com, Manchester United are looking to make a shock move for Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso, who also shared an excellent rapport with the Liverpool fans when he played for the Reds. Manchester United legend Paul Scholes retired at the end of the 2010-11 season. Alonso is a regular in the Real Madrid midfield and it is likely that Real Madrid will look to hold on to the Spanish International.
Nuri Sahin has been signed by Real Madrid in this summer's transfer window and he is capable of playing as a deep lying playmaker. Though he has been in excellent form for Borussia Dortmund, it is unlikely that Real Madrid would want to sell Xabi Alonso because they are in a strong financial position and Alonso adds quality and experience to the team.
United will probably look to sign a midfielder in the summer in order to add more guile to the attack and could even target Arsenal's Samir Nasri though the Gunners would not prefer selling to their rivals.

According to Goal.com, there are reports that Real Madrid have put together an offer of £22million plus midfielder Royston Drenthe to secure the services of Benefica left back Fabio Coentrao. The Spanish club has been linked with the Portugal International but it seems that they are reluctant to meet the release clause of the highly rated youngster.
Drenthe has not had a good spell at Real Madrid and was loaned out to Hercules in the 2010-11 season. The former Feyenoord player could move on from Real Madrid to join Benefica as a part of the deal which brings Coentrao to the Santiago Bernabeu. Coentrao has been impressive in the last season and has been tracked by a number of clubs in the past.
However, Coentrao has stated recently that he loves Benefica and will report for pre-season activities as normal if Real Madrid cannot agree terms with the Portuguese club, according to Goal.com
