Alex Morgan Knocks in Incredible Goal Against the Boston Breakers
Alex Morgan's popularity has gone through the roof. People took notice of the youngest player on USA's national team, and it wasn't just her looks that enamored the masses.
She is an incredible asset for the US. Morgan gives fans confidence that the US is going to be just fine once Abby Wambach and Hope Solo move on.
She's most well known for her play during the Women's World Cup, but she's also a star forward for the Western New York Flash.
Morgan recently knocked in an impossible goal against the Boston Breakers. It's literally indescribable, as there is no way to truly put into words how incredible the goal was.
She did some sort of 360 circus kick in a counterclockwise fashion that went off of her left foot. She scored from deep and added yet another goal to her highlight reel.
This isn't the most important goal of Morgan's career, but the manner in which she scored it could make it one of the most memorable. The degree of difficulty is outrageous.
Morgan isn't in the spotlight as she was during the the Women's World Cup, but she continues to impress. It's making people even more excited about her play and where the US Women's National Team is headed.
The 2015 Women's World Cup will feature a lot of the players who carried the team to the final this year. The US don't consider this their last time to cash in with their superstars, as they have a number of superstars at different points in their career.
Nobody can replace players like Mia Hamm, but Hope Solo continues to build on her own legacy. It seems every time we turn around she's making news and doing all the right things to build her stock.
With every jaw-dropping goal, she's building her stock and lifting the hopes of team USA's fans. The team acquired a lot of new fans and followers and Morgan is a huge reason why.
