Palermo and Argentinian starlet Javier Pastore has been a hot topic for the last year or so in the world of football. Widely believed to be the next great Argentine, he has been the main go-to man for the Sicilian club, and on the celebration of his 22nd birthday Monday I thought it appropriate to look at all the rumors swirling around his future.
There is no doubt that it will be a big-money move for Pastore, as his 11 goals led the club while his five assists ranked second. He cooled off some toward the end of last season, but make no mistake he is a youngster with loads of talent to offer and someone will pay heavily for it before the summer is over.

Goal.com have announced that AS Roma have also expressed interest in Palermo star Javier Pastore. With the youngster keen on a move away from the the lower Italian isle of Sicily, the Roman based club could have to shell out a reported sum of €50 million plus which has been the main number associated with the player for any respectable bid coming his way.
The Eternal City could be a great building block for the players future as the Wolves are in the midst of transition. He also would have the support of a great defensive midfielder in Daniele De Rossi that would allow him to use his creativity and skill in attack without as much fear that he is not covered at the back

Barcelona and Real Madrid both look to be possible ending locations for 22-year old Argentine Javier Pastore. Lionel Messi's fellow compatriot could very well join him at the Nou Camp if he got his way, but Christiano Ronaldo might welcome him with arms just as wide open.
On top of the possible El Calssico battle for the player, it is reported by the Telegraph that Chelsea also will have their hands in the mix chasing the signature of the starlet just as the Spanish duo.

Coppa Italian winner's Palermo look to be preparing for the impending exit of Javier Pastore as they have inked fellow midfielders Josip Ilicic and Armin Bacinovic to new deals at the Serie A club according to Goal.com.
The two midfielders arrived at the beginning of the season from Maribor and have been regular starters striking up a great partnership that will be the backbone of Palermo for years to come as they look to be solidifying the two in the middle for seasons to come.
The two of them combined for 10 goals and eight assists taking up where Pastore left off.

Argentine attacking midfielder Javier Pastore is looking for a way out of Palermo. The Sicilian club finished a lowly eighth in Serie A, mainly thanks to Pastore's 11 goals that led his teams scoring charts.
The 22-year old hopes for a move to Chelsea or another big name club in order to increase his chances for European action in the Champions League.
He recently was quoted as having stated it was time for him to leave the club in a Metro article and the big clubs look to be lining up at the door for his services.

As the transfer window continues it is only a matter of time until Manchester City pull the trigger on a big money move. Yes you know it, and I know it, they are going to keep spending big as their philosophy has now wielded a 3rd place finish in the English Premier League and an FA Cup trophy.
Their main target seems to be Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez, however, the Mirror reports that they could be in line for a possibly €50million transfer bid for Palermo's Javier Pastore as a second option should Sanchez fall through.

Palermo have been receiving loads of interest for the services of their young Argentine star Javier Pastore. It is believed that he will not leave the club for less than €50million according to Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini in a recent article on ESPNSoccernet.com.
Pastore's 11 goals lead the team and without him in their midfield next season they could risk finishing further down the table than this past season's eighth.
