Rays Playing for More Than Ring

Michael BishopContributor IOctober 16, 2016

Came across an interesting point made by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Young players who make near the minimum baseball salary of $390,000 as about half these Rays do can almost double their paycheck because of baseball’s playoff bonus payouts.

I don’t think anyone would question whether or not the Ray’s players would give it their all without the chance of making another $300,000, but as David Price is quoted in the article, “That’s a lot of money for four wins…everyone in this locker room has thought about it.”

Where can I comment?
