2011 NBA Draft: Kyrie Irving Will Be No.1 Pick Despite Rumors
There have been plenty of rumors surrounding the ClevelandCavaliers and the No. 1 overall pick.
For so long it seemed that Cleveland was extremely contentto select Kyrie Irving out of Duke No. 1, and the major questions of the draftcentered more around the order of the rest of the top 5.
Lately though, as could be expected may I add, there havebeen tons of rumors concerning the Cavaliers and just exactly they are going totry to do in this first rounds.
One of the most interesting rumors heading into the draft isthat Cleveland is going to somehow package up their No. 4 overall pick with afew players and trade that to Minnesota for the rights to the No. 2 overallpick.
If that trade were to happen the smart money would be on theCavaliers drafting both Irving and Williams, but in my opinion the trade is alittle too much of a stretch to take that seriously.
The Cavaliers still might try to move around their fourthoverall pick though, so that is something to keep an eye on.
Either way, I believe that when all is said and done KyrieIrving will be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
