NBA Draft 2011: Washington Wizards Will Go Leonard over Vesely
In a draft full of uncertainties, one thing is for sure, and that is that there are two premier small forwards in the bunch.
One, Kawhi Leonard, is an explosive rebounder, defender, and all-around solid player.
The other, Jan Vesely, is an international demon, a guy whose offense and size (he’s 6’11 and weighs 240 pounds) seem to scream “great fit!” for the Wizards, but you’ve got to believe it’s the former.
He would fit in extraordinarily well on a team that has the likes of other young stars like John Wall, Nick Young, and JaVale McGee.
Toss in Leonard and his 6’7, 227-pound frame into the mix? You’ve got a plethora of athletic and talented players who have yet to reach the peak of their respective basketball careers.
It’s a match made in heaven—er, I mean, Washington D.C.
