Well for starters, it only took him three years to earn a college degree, and in addition he finished his playing career at UConn on an 11-game win streak.

He earned a degree in Sociology, which is the study of society and the way in which we as people, develop knowledge, then use it for social activity.

In a nutshell, it’s about how knowledge affects behavior in social situations.

Which happen only about a million times per day, but from Kemba’s perspective, it relates very well to preparing for the NBA draft.

In an article by Chris Elsberry of the Connecticut Post, Elsberry quotes Walker about how he really feels:

“It's going to be a special feeling. I've had some great things happen this season to me and my teammates at UConn, but now it's time for me to move on and hopefully I can go to a team that fits me. I'm anxious, I'm excited, I'm nervous and I'm ready. It doesn't matter where I end up. I'm going to be happy wherever I go.”

And he’s correct. It shouldn’t matter where you end up, as long as you get the opportunity to showcase your talent.

It appears that Kemba Walker is matured well past his age, and greatly appreciating the fact that he’s getting an opportunity to play in the NBA.

To those who think he’s dropping and won’t be much of a force, that’s only added motivation.
