The draw is in and the first round matchups are set for the 125th Wimbledon Championship. The two week tournament is slated to start at 7 am EST on Monday, June 20, and will conclude with the gentlemen's final on Sunday, July 3.
There is plenty of drama and intrigue for this year's grand tennis tournament, and it starts on the first day. John Isner and Nicolas Mahut almost inexplicably drew each other as first-round opponents. This sets the stage for their epic rematch of last year's three-day marathon first-round match.
Then of course we have Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer trying to maintain their dominance at Wimbledon as players like Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray try to unseat them and become the first player other than Nadal or Federer to win Wimbledon since 2003.
On the women's side of things the Williams sisters are both in action and recently returning from long layoffs due to various health concerns. Serena will look to defend her championship. Combined, the Williams sisters have won nine of the past 11 Wimbledon championships.
