Mike Sherman has done an outstanding job evaluating talent as the Head Coach for the Texas Aggies.

Mike Sherman and the Texas A&M coaching staff have offered a scholarship to East Bernard's Class of 2013 QB/DB Ty Slanina. East Bernard High School is the same Class AA Texas high school that produced two-time All-American and six-time Pro Bowl punter Shane Lechler.

Last season, Slanina rushed for 1,015 yards on 96 carries with 22 touchdowns. He also had 561 passing yards and 7 touchdowns. Defensively, he had 43 tackles and 7 interceptions.  He is expected to be heavily recruited as a safety at the next level.

Here is his SOPHOMORE highlight reel.
