A few days ago, I asked this question to fellow Gooners:
Should Wenger give in to Nasri's demands?
I asked this question due to the continuous speculation and rumors that Samir Nasri is considering leaving the Gunners and is asking for a huge pay rise and wage packet (reports range it from 110,000-160,000 pounds) in order to stay. Here are the results, which are very intriguing and quite surprising.
Do you think that Wenger should give in to Nasri's wage demands?
|Doesn't matter to me||(4%)|
So the majority of Gooners (69 percent of them) have voted that Wenger should give in to Nasri's wage demands, despite the fact that he stated that he will consider joining the team's fierce rivals, Manchester United. The results mean that many Gooners want Nasri to stay and Wenger should do whatever it takes to keep him, no matter the cost.
This guy has had one good season and a suspect loyalty to the team, and now wants to be paid as much as team captain Cesc Fabregas, who's been on the team for eight seasons.
Despite the many reasons not to give Nasri what he wants, many want him to stay at whatever cost, showing how much he's loved and supported. He's going to hurt a lot of Gooners if he leaves, including me.
What do you think? Do you think Wenger should give in to Nasri's demands? Should Arsenal do everything possible to keep Nasri? Please share your thoughts and opinions.
Cheers and take care,
