WWE Superstar Randy Orton Undergoing Impact Test for Sunday

Josh McCainSenior Writer IJune 17, 2011

As I reported here a couple of days ago, WWE Superstar Randy Orton suffered a concussion this past weekend on the WWE's international tour.

The status for Orton's match with Christian at this Sunday's Capitol Punishment live from the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. is still up in the air.

However, we should know soon if he'll be able to compete in Sunday's match.

Orton tweeted, "About to take an Impact test. It will determine if I can be cleared to fight Christian, after receiving a concussion. Wish me luck."

Let's hope he'll tweet the results so we won't have to wait until Sunday to find out the fate of the heavyweight title match.

Check back later or follow me on Twitter (@jomac006), as I will be sure to update as soon as there is something to update.

UPDATE:

Randy Orton tweeted that he passed his impact test.  Doesn't guarantee he'll wrestle tomorrow but it's a good sign.
