Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn! Why Not?

Forget about the Quinn versus DA stuff! Give the fans a treat, and opposing Defensive Coordinators nightmares! DA has got the bomb but struggles with the underneath game. On the contrary, Quinn has a good underneath game but lacks the practice with the starting players.

What a combination!

For Ken Wisenhunt this would be a no brainer. Add a little spice to a 3-4 season and possibly run the table on the way to the playoffs. All that is required is six or seven plays a week where you bring Quinn in for a specialty plays and possibly to finish a game off.

If Quinn was ready to play the closers role against Jacksonville it would of been a very dull finish. If you recall there was 2:57 play and the Browns just got the ball back on the 33 yard line.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have 2 timeouts remaining and everybody in the stadium knows that DA is horrible in short passing situations. So everybody and their brother crowds into the box awaiting Jamal's next three runs.

Ok stop the tape right there!

Enter Brady Quinn and his specialty offense! Short passes and hand offs! The closer has arrived!  And you run and pass your way to a first down and a safe finish. This type of offensive set could be easily installed by the Browns game and could also be used on third down and 1 when the situation arrives.

Ok back to reality. Stop the Browns Dreamcam! Back to the game! With 2:57 and the obvious coming tell Shaun Rogers to catch his breath. Cousins, Pool, McDonald, Wright and Sorensen get ready to seal the deal, after all we are "The Cardiac Kids".
