US Open Golf 2011 Now Underway at the Congressional Country Club

The 2011 US Open has kicked off at the Congressional Country Club and Johan Edfors is off to the early lead.

Some of the favorites have struggled early in the tournament.  Luke Donald has gotten off to a very poor start, as has Lee Westwood.

It is still very early in the tournament, though, and a lot of things can happen between now and Sunday.

Graeme McDowell is off to a solid start as he looks to defend his US Open title, and Ernie Els, the last golfer to win the US Open at the Congressional, is also in solid position to defend his course.

Look for things to heat up as the weekend moves along and the US Open continues through Father's Day.
