2011 NBA Mock Draft: Washington Wizards Choose Between Kawhi Leonard, Jan Vesely
With Sixth Pick in 2011 NBA Draft, Washington Wizards Seek Small Forward to Pair With John Wall
If the Washington Wizards had their way, they would undoubtedly sneak into the second spot in the 2011 NBA Draft, where the Minnesota Timberwolves currently sit, and snap up Arizona's Derrick Williams to be John Wall's new sidekick.
However, this being the real world and T-Wolves general manager David Kahn being the all-around "blunderkind" among NBA executives, it would appear as though the Wizards will have to settle for whoever they can muster with the sixth-overall pick.
That's not to say that Washington won't have some good options from which to choose at that point. Should the Wizards decide to go with a wing-forward, they'll likely choose between San Diego State's Kawhi Leonard and Jan Vesely of the Czech Republic.

In one of his many tweets today, @Probballdraft gave Vesely the edge, saying:
The 6'11" Vesely is an athletic freak who loves to attack the basket, while the 6'7" Leonard is more of a jack-of-all-trades-type who can guard multiple positions and contribute in a number of ways offensively.
Who the Wizards end up taking depends on largely on who's available and, if both come through, who they believe will be a better running mate for their superstar point guard.
