2011 NBA Mock Draft: Washington Wizards Should Backup Blatche and McGee

I think the Wizards should use their second first round pick to solidify their power forward or center position.

With John Wall running the show, I think the big man they select should have versatility and range.

Safe Pick: Markieff Morris. Morris showed that he could step out and hit the three-ball at Kansas last season. He is also a strong defender and rebounds the ball very well.

High Risk/High Reward: Donatas Motiejunas. Taking a seven footer at No. 18 is not a bad move.

Intriguing Option: Josh Selby. The Wizards could throw my big man idea right out the window and ride the momentum of the rejuvinated Josh Selby. Now that Selby is fully healthy, he is wowing the scouts and climbing up mock draft boards everywhere.

Selby could be a great sixth man for the Wizards. The rotation of Selby, John Wall and Jordan Crawford playing the minutes of point guard and shooting guard would be exciting to watch.
