Here is NHL.com's official statement from the game review article:
The NHL had all 30 teams in action Saturday, so the video review room in Toronto was overworked. According to a blog post on the league's official Web site, off-ice officials deemed the evidence inconclusive.
The decision was sent back to Minnesota, and the referee who made the initial call was overruled by his three colleagues.
"Overworked" and now the refs get the final judgement on reviewed goals? Are you kidding me? Do they just make this crap up as they go?
Lets see, you have how many months to plan for these games and you can't staff accordingly?
Mickey Mouse, meet the NHL.
