Former Teammate Tyler Hamilton Alerts Feds on Lance Armstrong
Lance Armstrong continues to make headlines, and it's not pertaining to the good work he does. Armstrong had a recent run-in with former teammate Tyler Hamilton in Aspen, Colorado.
About a year ago Hamilton testified before a grand jury investigating Armstrong and other cyclists accused of using performance-enhancing drugs.
During an interview with 60 Minutes, Hamilton claimed that the seven-time Tour de France winner used banned substances. Hamilton also acknowledged his own drug use in the interview.
The two ran into each other in Aspen, and according to Hamilton, Armstrong displayed "aggressive contact," which is why Hamilton's lawyer notified the feds.

Hamilton's attorney Chris Manderson said that Armstrong repeatedly asked Hamilton how much he had been paid to do the interview. Armstrong allegedly also added that his legal team would "(expletive) destroy you," "tear you apart on the witness stand," and "make your life a living (expletive) hell."
Manderson felt he needed to inform the feds of what happened.
Jodi Larner, co-owner of the upscale Cache Cache bistro where the incident took place and a personal friend of Armstrong's, had a different story. She claims that the two never left the bar and nothing was confrontational.
Armstrong lives part-time in Aspen, and Manderson is claiming that the restaurant tipped him off that Hamilton was there.
There's nothing wrong with two men talking and hashing out their problems. However, if Armstrong did display "aggressive contact" then that was a wrong move on his part. If Hamilton's report is accurate then this could file under the definition of witness tampering.
I understand that Armstrong is frustrated because of the countless accusations thrown his way, but that doesn't give him the right to yell in people's faces.
