Chicago Cubs Crushed

Sean MatraiContributor IOctober 25, 2008

It's about as desolute in the north side of Chicago as it is in this picture. For the whole 2008 regular season it was a "Hakuna Matata" for the Cubs Faithful. Soto and Kouske were actually hitting.

In the middle of the season Rich Harden was acquired to better their rotation. They probably had the best offense, rotation, and bullpen in the game. They won a whole lot of games at Wrigley and at the first week of the postseason their dreams of not making it a hundred  years were crushed.

The fans are probably more angry then the Met fans are.
