Rumors & Realities knows that its words about rare appearances outside the transfer window are being taken as a pinch of salt. But this time, R-R has a moral cause [no kidding].
Smoking is known to be a cause for cancer and other fatal diseases. If one smokes, then it is more likely that he OR she [R-R thinks language usage shows its care for gender equality] will have heart problems.
On the other hand, being a second-hand smoker is worse than smoking for one's health. That is why William Gallas has chosen not to be a second-hand smoker. Instead, the French defender appeared in a picture leaving a nightclub with a cigarette in his mouth.
R-R thinks that Gallas should apologize to the football world. He should apologize for not being wise enough [he should have smoked inside the club. There are no cameras there].
Arsene Wenger reacted angrily to the Gallas-cigarette incident. The Arsenal captain seems to have enjoyed the night while Wenger was obviously not invited.
David Beckham's news always deserve a mention. Although Becks' move to AC Milan is still in its early negotiation process, Beckham is dominating the headlines of the papers' sports sections.
Beckham will not move to The Emirates though. After training with Arsenal last year, some papers [worthy of burning or other usage] suggested that Becks might "betray" Manchester United and head to North London.
That won't be the case as Wenger ruled out a move for Becks. Wenger said he has good options for right midfield in both Theo Walcott and Emmanuel Eboue [it is either Wenger means it or he is still in a bad mood after being left out of Gallas' party].
R-R hates to say "I told you so", but its author has in fact predicted that Real Madrid will begin to fall after letting go of Robinho and signing only Raffael van der Vaart. Click here to read the article: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/52079-br-interactive-real-not-really-good-anymore
Losing 2-1 to Juventus might have been bad news for Real fans, but there's always good news. According to club officials, the club have ended their pursuit for Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo. R-R will miss the story [tears of farewell].
Speaking of Ronaldo, he has declared that he deserves The Golden Ball. R-R thinks Ronaldo qualifies for many awards this year [Most Humble Footballer 2008].
Real Madrid's Barbie-like midfielder Fernando Gago has spoken of his belief that his club can win the treble [didn't he play against Juve? Barbie's getting wiser and wiser].
Inter's Mario Balotelli is ready to hand Jose Mourinho a transfer request, demanding a move in search for first-team football.
The 18-year-old has been given a bench role and thinks he deserves a place among the starting 11. [as if 18 year-old players owe the football world anything].
If you still have an apetite to burn things, light up the papers claiming that Juventus, Milan, and Inter are in the hunt for Cesc Fabregas.
It is absurd to think that the teams that were in a credit crisis before the universal credit crunch would make a 40m bid for anyone.
These transfer stories began to pop out when Fabregas declared that he would like to move back to Barcelona one day [Wenger ain't a happy man these days, huh?].
So burn papers, magazines, or even cakes, but do NOT light up a cigarette. [especially if you're a public figure being watched by cameras].
Say NO To Smoking [R-R is serious!].
