The 2011 NBA Finals will resume Sunday at 7 p.m. EST. Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks will hit the road and attempt to win their first NBA Championship against the Miami Heat.

After winning Game 5 in dramatic fashion and severely limiting LeBron James, the Mavs need to take advantage of the three-day rest and carry their momentum into Miami to try to finish the series up tomorrow.

If the Mavericks fail to win tomorrow, Game 7 will take place Tuesday, June 14th at 8 p.m. EST. The Mavs would like to avoid a Game 7 on the heels of a loss in a hostile environment against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Dirk Nowitzki already has all the motivation he needs, but after being prodded in the media by Wade and LeBron for his illness, look for Dirk to come back at them with a vengeance on the hardwood.

The Heat, specifically LeBron James, need a signature win tomorrow in order to quiet doubters and change their legacy. LeBron has been the object of heavy criticism for his willingness to defer in the fourth quarter and inability to take over a game when his team needs him to.

There are many questions to be asked of both teams in the day leading up to the highly anticipated match up tomorrow night and we will be looking into them throughout the day.
