TNA Wrestling presented its first iMPACT! in high definition yesterday on Spike TV which saw the debut of a new title in the form of the TNA Legends Championship and the crowning of a new Knockouts champion, Awesome Kong.

The show—the only second one live in the company's history—was held at The Joint at the Hard Rock Cafe & Casino hotel in Las Vegas, NV., in front of a jam packed crowd.

At the end of the show, TNA newcomer Mick Foley announced that he bought parts of the company, making him a part owner with Jeff Jarrett. Before making the announcement, former TNA champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle got in Foley's face and ended up headbutting the new "boss." Confetti showered The Joint to celebrate the announcement as the show faded to black.

In matches from the show, Christy Hemme defeated Velvet Sky; Sheik Abdul Bashir defeated Black Machismo; Beer Money defeated LAX, Team 3-D, and Matt Morgan and Abyss; Awesome Kong defeated Taylor Wilde; Sting and Kevin Nash defeated AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.
