Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki Shines Yet Again vs Miami Heat in The 2011 NBA Playoffs
What can be said about Dirk Nowitzki that hasn't already been said. He finished with 29 points and six rebounds in the Dallas Mavericks win over the Miami Heat 112-103 to take a 3-to-2 series lead in the 2011 NBA Finals.
Jeff Van Gundy called him a household name in lockerrooms across the world. I'm not sure how many lockkerroom's are in houses, but you get the point.
He has played with a torn tendon on his middle finger since the end of Game One and played with a 102 fever in Game Four.
The weight of the world is on his shoulders and he continues to come through. He has missed a grand total of one free throw in the Finals.

He has called out teammates in the media and has chewed them out on the court. Nowitzki is giving the world a clinic on how to be a leader and an alpha dog on a NBA team.
Dirk is now one game away from their first championship in the history of the franchise and it's all about the seven footer from Germany.
A statue to honor him in Dallas can't be made big enough to describe the impact he has had on the franchise and the city.
This is your moment Dirk, enjoy it.
