Tiger Woods Swing Coach Tells Media He Will Be Back and Better Than Ever Soon

Tiger Woods has had all sort of issues with his knee of late and chose not to play in the US Open next week because of the lingering issues. He has only played nine holes since April's Masters and nobody is too sure when he will play again.

The golf world is abuzz wondering if this is the beginning of the end for the legendary Woods. Swing coach Sean Foley told the Washington Post there is no reason to panic:

He's doing the right thing. A lot of people in golf are selfish, and this is affecting them and making them upset. This is about my buddy who has taken responsibility. I'm proud to see that he has realized this is the best thing to do. It's frustrating in the short term, but the big picture is much better.
He'll get over it. If you don't believe in Tiger Woods' ability to play golf, you're crazy. Who doesn't go through a dry spell in life? We all do.

It's certainly too early to throw in the towel on his career, but he is currently digging himself quite a hole. The mechanics of his swing have been adjusted to ease the pain on his knee and it's hurting his game.

Foley is preaching patience, but the longer Woods struggles the more fans worry that he will never win another major tournament.
