On paper a Mark Henry vs Big Show match sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I mean these two guys have been around forever because they have size, not because they are spectacular workers. But I have to admit that I am actually looking forward to their match at Money In the Bank.

The reason that this match has the potential to work is because it isn’t being promoted as a wrestling match. It has been built as a fight between two men that just don’t like each other. It’s not going to be a great technical match, rather a war between two guys who just want to kick the crap out of each other.

It got really good two weeks ago on Raw, when Big Show was in a cage match against Alberto Del Rio and Henry ripped the door off the cage and rammed Big Show through the cage door.

Since then these two have gone back and forth just punishing each other. WWE has to know the limitations that these two men have in the ring, if they don’t they should all be fired, and as a result they have finally found a storyline that works for both men.

There will plenty of good traditional wrestling on the pay-per-view with John Cena against CM Punk and Randy Orton against Christian. The two Money In the Bank matches should be wonderful spotfests, and this Big Show-Mark Henry match should be just the right contrast from those matches to fit right in.

It’s not going to be a match of the year candidate, but by building this match as just a street fight between two big bad human beings, it will be an enjoyable spectacle to watch, and give us a little break from all the traditional wrestling that will be on the Money In the Bank show.
