"Spurs' are on their way to Wembley!...Tottenham's gonna do it again!"

That famous song from yesteryear will be sung loud and clear by Tottenham fans everywhere tonight as Juande Ramos' men astonishingly dumped Arsenal out of the Carling Cup with the final score of 5-1.

Tottenham led 2-0 at half time, with goals from Jermain Jenas and a Nicklas Bendtner own goal, before extending their lead to 4-0 in the second half with Aaron Lennon and Robbie Keane adding their names to the score sheet.

Arsenal finally scored through Emmanuel Adebayor with a little less than 25 minutes left, but the icing on the cake came courtesy of Steed Malbranque with Tottenham's fifth. The result ended Arsenal's 21 match unbeaten streak against their north London rivals—a run stretching way back to 1999.

Knockout competition seems to indeed be Ramos' forte, after leading Sevilla to two UEFA Cup wins as well as a Spanish Cup. Now Tottenham awaits either Chelsea or Everton in the Final, feeling confident about bringing home their first silverwear since '99 when they finished as winners of this very competition.

Wenger will feel a little embarrassed at his team's performance and only time will tell whether this loss will affect Arsenal's confidence in what has been a magnificent season for the Gunners.

But the spotlight shines brightly tonight on the boys from White Hart Lane. Congratulations Tottenham Hotspurs.
