With the 2011 NBA draft less than a month away (June 23) in Newark, New Jersey, the excitement over the young stars entering the NBA is palpable.

This season’s draft may not be as deep as many others in the past, but there are still plenty of skill and possible role players than can help build a team for the future.

These possible role players coming out in this draft could be the difference for teams on the cusp of making a run at the playoffs, and certain teams may want to trade out of the first round to get picks in next year’s draft.

While most players come into the draft with a good head on their shoulders and are ready for the next level, there seems to be more baggage with some of these players then with previous drafts.

No matter who goes No. 1 and where the other prospects fall, this still should be one of the more exciting drafts trade wise considering the weakness of the draft.
