Euro Cup 2012 qualifiers are now underway!
The qualifying matches for the UEFA European Cup have already begun and will continue until Tuesday June 7.
England and Switzerland have just battled to a 2-2 draw. It was a disappointing effort from Fabio Capello's team, who were down 2-0 at one point in the match from a pair of soft free kicks from Tranquillo Barnetta.
While Capello hinted that the team was fatigued, star player John Terry insists that they just had a poor outing.
Clearly, England needs to step up their play in the remaining three qualifiers in order to make it to next year's big event.

Ashley Young's Arrival at Old Trafford Could Be the Beginning of a New Midfield For Manchester United
Manchester United appears ready to address the midfield heavily this offseason with the addition of versatile midfield Ashley Young and their pursuit of Arsenal winder Samir Nasri.
Nasri was part of France's Euro Cup team that reached a 1-1 draw against Belarus just a week ago, but they remain atop their qualifying group by four points.
The addition of Ashley Young may be enough to entice Nasri to join United as well, if his desire truly is to win a Champions League title.

United will easily enter next season as the favorites to win the Premier League Title, but may have enough firepower with the addition of Young and Nasri to content for a Champions League Title.
United was destroyed by Barcelona in the midfield in this year's Champions League Final, but with the addition of Young and Nasri they may have the players needed to knock off the Spanish side.
It was originally thought that United would attempt to land Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder, however, Nasri is now the name flying around for United. According to Bloomberg Sports, United is set to offer £10million for Nasri whose contract ends after next season.
If United is to secure Nasri, they may have the best midfield in the English Premier League.

Ashley Young Set To Sign £20million Deal With Manchester United After Calling Off Wedding
The month of June is starting off to be a strong one for Young as he has now agreed to a five-year, £20m deal with Manchester United.
Just a week earlier, Young scored the tying goal for England just in their Euro Cup qualifying match against Switzerland, as they made it out of the game with a 2-2 draw following some terrible defending early in the match.
Young is the second acquisition for Sir Alex Ferguson's squad this offseason, as they acquired U-21 star Phil Jones earlier in the week. Young should immediately improve the attack for United, as they improve a midfield that struggled against Barcelona.

According to the Daily Mail, Young was set to tie the knot with his childhood sweetheart Natalie Pike on Saturday, but they have informed guests not to show up for the affair.
Instead, Young is set to fly out to Las Vegas on Sunday and be unveiled as the newest member of Manchester United.
Don't expect the signings to stop there for United, as the Daily Mail indicates that United has also opened preliminary talks with French star Samir Nasri and are also expected to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David De Gea in a £17m deal.
