USA vs Spain Results: Spain Wins, Team USA No Match for Best Team in the World
USA vs Spain Friendly Results in Lopsided Affair
After today's 4-0 defeat against the world champion Spanish soccer team, the all-time record between the two clubs remains heavily in Spain's favor 4-1-0.
Most of the 60,000 people in the crowd showed their patriotism by donning the red, white and blue. But before the end of the match, they couldn't help but watch in excitement at how easily the Spanish team ran all over U.S. defenders and midfielders with ease.
This game gives Team USA and head coach Bob Bradley the daunting realization that they are a long way from becoming a world-class squad like Spain.

U.S. may not have had their "A" team on the field but their performance was still a disappointment.
This game was over at half-time, when Spain had a 3-0 lead. Midfielder Santi Cazorla was responsible for two of Spain's first three goals in the 28th and 40th minute, with Alvaro Negredo scoring on the 32nd minute.
Star USA goaltender Tim Howard had no answer for the barrage of shots and opportunities that came his way. However, it was the porous USA defense that needs to take the blame for such a poor performance.
They may have played the best team in the world. But if Team USA expects to put together a solid run in the upcoming Gold Cup, they'll need much better play from their defense.
