Talent is the great equalizer.  In the co-feature today at Churchill Downs, I like Fantasy of Flight to capture the Grade Three Dogwood in just her second career start.

The field of eight for this race contains a lot of speed, which worries me but I think Fantasy of Flight can overcome the early speed and win this $100,000 race.

Might is the morning line favorite at 2:1 with Julien Leparoux.  This three-year-old has won her last two races with ease, including a seven-furlong romp over the Churchill dirt on May 6.  This is the horse that will need to be caught.

Salty Strike is the other interesting horse in this eight-furlong race.  She also won her last race at seven furlongs by seven lengths in 1:22.2 and had an incredible work on May 14 of 59.1 for five furlongs.  She's two for three at Churchill and should be stalking the early fast fractions.

Juanita and Henny's Hurricane are the other pace-setters and should push Might to run hard from the start.  I don't think Juanita or Henny's Hurricane has any chance of winning the race, but they will have an impact on the race.

Fantasy of Flight is coming off of a super six-furlong win on May 6 and has had two solid bullet works leading up to this race.  The sire is Tiznow, so the added distance from her one start shouldn't be a problem.  Robby Albarado needs to keep this talented youngster behind the early pace or she could fade late.

The pick: Fantasy of Flight/Might/Salty Strike
